Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 basic + overtime
Overtime:
Time & ½ after 45 hours

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established and growing commercial vehicle workshop based in Trafford Park.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic to join a reputable business with a strong customer base and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship.
The successful candidate will play an important role within the workshop, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a range of heavy commercial vehicles.
The Role- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of HGVs and commercial vehicles
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing preventative maintenance and vehicle inspections
- Carrying out repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health, safety and compliance requirements
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed
- Working effectively as part of a professional workshop team
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the workshop
- Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on HGVs, trucks or heavy commercial vehicles
- A recognised qualification such as NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent is desirable
- An HGV Licence is desirable but not essential
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A professional approach and strong attention to detail
- A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- £50,000 – £55,000 basic salary, depending on experience
- Overtime paid at Time & ½ after 45 hours
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- Day shifts only
