Vehicle Technician – Independent Garage Are you a Vehicle Technician looking for a new challenge? Established independent garage looking to add an experienced Technician to the team! Salary up to £42,000 DOE  OTE £50,000  overtime at time & a half Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm | No weekend work My client is a well-established and busy independent garage looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their friendly and experienced team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technician who is looking for a long-term position within an independent garage where quality workmanship, a good working environment and work-life balance are genuinely valued. You’ll be joining a supportive team and working on a variety of vehicles, with plenty of opportunity to use and develop your mechanical and diagnostic skills. Key responsibilities Carry out routine servicing and maintenance to a high standard.

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults. Complete brake, suspension, exhaust, clutch and timing belt work. Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle faults. Carry out vehicle inspections and identify any additional work required. Complete all work efficiently and to a high standard. Maintain accurate records of work carried out. Work as part of a small, professional team to ensure excellent customer service.

Key requirements Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent. Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician. Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills. Full UK driving licence. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Own tools desirable. MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. What’s on offer?
