HGV Technician – Manchester

Pay:
Up to £20.90 per hour (DOE)

Hours:

4 on 4 off, Days

Shift: 6:00am - 6:00pm or 7:00am - 7:00pm (your preference)

Contract:

Permanent, Full-Time

Earning Potential (OTE)
Basic up to £45,645 per year
Realistic OTE: £48,000 - £50,000+ with Overtime

Must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ / City & Guilds).

Overview
We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a leading truck manufacturer in Manchester.

This role offers a popular 4 on 4 off shift pattern with your choice of day shifts, plus excellent earning potential and comprehensive manufacturer benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret job card instructions and complete repairs to manufacturer standards

Attend training and maintain current technical knowledge

Accurately report work completed and any additional faults found

Maintain clean and tidy work areas

Support company commercial interests and maintain brand reputation

What You'll Need

Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ/City & Guilds)

Proven experience working with HGVs in a workshop environment

Ability to work well within a team environment

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

What's On Offer

Up to £20.90 per hour depending on experience

OTE up to £50,000+ per year with overtime

4 on 4 off day shifts (choose your preferred 12-hour pattern)
