Fire Service & Maintenance Engineer

Find Core are thrilled to be assisting an established fire and security business with the recruitment of a Service & Maintenance Engineer . Permanent, full-time position covering Manchester , with travel to client sites as required. Salary Negotiable, depending on experience  overtime  additional benefits  company vehicle and fuel card

Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and reactive repairs across fire and security systems Work on Fire Detection, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems Diagnose system faults and carry out efficient repairs Test and inspect systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards Complete minor system modifications and remedial works where required Liaise with clients and provide technical advice Complete service reports, maintenance records and certification accurately Work closely with service coordinators and internal teams to manage workloads Participate in an on-call rota where required Skills & Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience servicing and maintaining fire and security systems

Experience with Fire Detection, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarms Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Good knowledge of relevant British Standards Understanding of networking and IP-based systems Strong customer service and communication skills Full UK driving licence Ability to pass security vetting
