Job Title: Apprentice Service Technician
Reports To: Service Coordinator
Summary: Completes repairs and installations in a safe and timely manner by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities- Applies knowledge and ability to perform technical repairs according to schedule.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with the appropriate equipment to determine most efficient course of action.
- Estimates repair costs and obtains authorization prior to beginning work for all repairs.
- Completes repairs in a timely manner.
- Travels to customer locations to complete repairs as directed.
- Maintains a neat and orderly work area at all times.
- Attend necessary training meetings as required.

Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer
Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of in-house software and Microsoft Outlook.
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record allowing Brook Valley to insure driver under company insurance policy.
