Duties
* You will operate pumps and valves to load tank trucks with bulk lube oil, filling to markers or amounts required from verbal or written instructions.
* You will deliver oil to government facilities and ships located at the Fuel Department, deploying hose up to 100 feet and pumping into containers, and/or tanks.
* You will use various fittings and adapters to provide mechanical connections to prevent spills and/or loss of product. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

* This is a bargaining unit position.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
* Work requires the employee to drive a tanker trucks, vacuum trucks, and or runway sweepers with a gross vehicle weight of 33,000 pounds including 2,000 gallon fuel capacity.
* This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
* Incumbent must satisfactorily complete required Automated Fuels Handling System (AFHE) and other required safety training.
* You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
* You must be able to obtain and maintain a current Forklift Operator's license.
* You must be able to obtain and maintain a current valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat. Qualifications Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.

Your resume must show that you have the ability to perform simple tasks including: manual labor activities such as truck loading or fuel wharf, securing ship's mooring lines, and following directions to develop your skills through a training program. The Screen-out Element for the WG-05 is: THE ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION.

Assisting with recording fuel transfers and applying seals to tank trucks. Using material handling equipment and demonstrating physical capability to handle fuel hoses, fittings, and other equipment. Helping senior workers with receiving, issuing and discharging cargo. The Screen-out Element for the WG-06 is: THE ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION. Your resume must show that you have the ability to perform common tasks including:
Proficiency in operating heavy vehicles including fork lifts and specialized fueling equipment with gross vehicle weight up to and including 33,000 lbs. and be experienced in the proper loading and arrangement of cargo.
