Duties
* You will perform standard industrial applications found at a marine oil terminal such as installing, modifying, repairing, troubleshooting, testing, and loading new and existing electrical lines and circuits.
* You will works from building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering, drawings, and electrical maintenance and repair manuals to plan and lay out the routing, placement type, size, gauge, balance, etc.
* You will use a wide variety of testing equipment, including test lamps, multimeters, circuit analyzers, circuit breaker testers, voltage recording meters, meggers, watt meters, ohmeters, and ammeters.
* You will be required to perform general maintenance and repair duties on the facilities as required. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license. Qualifications Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible.
The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION
* Demonstrated knowledge in the installation, operation, and troubleshooting of various electrical systems and equipment, including series, parallel, and compound circuits for single and multiple-phase alternating currents;
* Ability to interpret and apply the National Electrical Code, local codes, building plans, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to plan, lay out, and complete electrical work;
* Proficient in using a wide variety of hand tools, power tools (like hydraulic benders and pipe threading machines), and specialized test equipment such as multimeters, meggers, circuit analyzers, and optical time domain reflectometers (OTDR);
* Ability to install, modify, repair, and maintain diverse industrial and marine electrical systems, such as secondary power distribution lines, switch gear, fire alarm systems, lighting protection, and fiber optic networks;
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Forklift Operator License and a U.S. Driver's License or government vehicle operator permit.
