Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support large-scale, mission-critical data center projects in North Dakota

The APM will work closely with the Project Manager and field teams to help drive schedule, cost control, and subcontractor coordination on complex, MEP-intensive builds.

The Assistant Project Manager supports the successful execution of data center construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role plays a key part in document control, subcontractor coordination, procurement tracking, and financial reporting.

• Assist Project Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate subcontractor communications and ensure timely deliverables
• Support procurement of materials and equipment (including long‑lead MEP items)
• Track schedule milestones and help identify potential delays
• Participate in OAC (Owner/Architect/Contractor) meetings
• Assist with pay applications and subcontractor billing reviews
• Support project closeout documentation and turnover processes

• 2–5 years of commercial construction experience
• Data center or mission‑critical experience preferred but not required
• Basic understanding of MEP systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC) is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
