Project Scheduler

Job Overview

The Scheduler I is responsible for creating and updating program and project schedules in Primavera P6 and subsequent versions.

• Integrate contractor schedules and fragmented networks (fragnets).
• Attend regularly and as‑needed meetings with managers and stakeholders.
• Create routine and as‑needed reports, such as summary and lookahead schedules, key milestones and baseline variances.
• Coordinate tasks with other schedulers.
• Analyze schedules for compression opportunities and identify developing problem areas.
• Cost and resource‑load schedules.
• Communicate timely and effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Adhere to the prescribed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), global codes, and templates.
• Publish schedules in PDF and other formats to the prescribed locations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create and refine templates.
• Integrate Primavera P6 data to other platforms, such as K2, SAP, IBM Planning Analytics.
• Support project management team to maintain timely and effective change management process, procedures and systems.
• Perform QA/QC checks of project schedules and inform Project Managers about issues that need to be resolved.

• High school graduate required.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field from accredited program or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum of 0‑2 years of direct or relevant experience with degree, 2‑4 years direct or relevant experience without degree.
• Primavera version 6 (P6) – an Oracle product.
• Proficient in Office 365;
  SharePoint Online.
• Works under direction of Scheduler IV and project/program managers, and business unit managers or their appointees.
• Communicate effectively to a diverse audience of different levels of education and expertise verbally and in writing; able to present to a large audience; works well in one‑on‑one and group settings requiring good interpersonal skills.
• Responsible for projects or portfolio less than $1 million.

Salary range for this position is $85,000 – $100,000. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.

This job operates in a professional office environment and uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

• Ability to sit/stand for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to move freely for up to 8 hours per day.
