Who

Are You?

Are you passionate about building meaningful digital products that solve hard problems and delight users? Do you believe in the power of learning to transform careers and companies? Are you interested in working with a talented, mission‑driven team? More importantly, do you thrive with ownership and autonomy? As a small, agile team, we’re looking for a Senior UX Designer who can independently lead design initiatives from exploration through implementation.

Design is one of Novo Ed's key differentiators. You’ll partner with a cross‑functional team that values craft, collaboration, and outcomes. If you're excited by user‑centered design, fast iteration, and having a strategic seat at the table, we’d love to talk.

What Will You Do?
  • Design scalable, collaborative, and social online learning experiences used by Fortune 500 companies, universities, and training organizations
  • Own 1‑2 major projects at any time, serving as the design lead who shapes solutions from initial problem exploration through final implementation
  • Partner closely with the product management team to frame problems, define project scope, explore multiple design approaches, and make well‑reasoned recommendations
  • Provide production‑ready mocks and assets, and work closely with engineers to balance quality and feasibility
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and understand user goals
  • When challenges arise, proactively align stakeholders, propose solutions, and adjust scope as needed
  • Help shape the future of our product by contributing to product strategy and roadmap discussions
What Skills Are Needed For This Role? Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years of experience designing products that have been used by end users and clients at scale
  • Proven track record of solving complex real‑world problems with strategic thinking and elegant, user‑centered solutions
  • Proficiency with the full design toolkit: wire framing, user flows, high‑fidelity mocks, prototyping, user interviews, and usability testing
  • Expert‑level skills with design tools like Figma, including advanced features like components and design libraries
  • Experience maintaining visual and interaction consistency by working within established design systems and contributing to their evolution
  • Strong visual design foundation with attention to detail and pixel‑perfect execution
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS and development constraints
  • Experience designing AI‑powered features that enhance user workflows and personalize experiences is a plus
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools to accelerate workflows is a plus
