The Opportunity
The Mid‑Level Service Now and Out Systems Cybersecurity Developer is instrumental in customizing, configuring, and enhancing the cybersecurity capabilities of the Service Now platform and Out Systems platform across multiple modules. The role is responsible for designing and implementing custom workflows, integrations, and automation rules to optimize processes related to cybersecurity such as identification, response, and mitigation of cybersecurity issues and exception management.
The role requires strong independence, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex, manual requirements into streamlined Service Now solutions, ensuring a cohesive security posture. U.S. citizenship is required.
- 10+ years of experience in Service Now development, including customizing and configuring Service Now modules.
- Experience managing and automating workflows within Service Now modules:
Vulnerability Response (VR), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). - Experience with daily use of Service Now front‑end configuration tools, contributing across the software development lifecycle.
- Experience in stakeholder management and transitioning manual workflows to Service Now standard solutions, participating in technical design meetings while upholding development standards and best practices.
- Experience integrating Service Now with widely adopted security tools across both public and private sectors.
- Experience developing data analytics solutions, leveraging the enterprise data lake, and creating insightful reports and dashboards.
- Ability to independently gather requirements, conduct research, and develop solutions with minimal oversight.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with Out Systems.
- Experience contributing to organizational knowledge bases and documentation skills.
- Ability to effectively translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Service Now certifications, such as Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist.
Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800 to $257,000 annualized USD. Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible for Booz Allen’s benefit programs.
