Production Supervisor- Bacon

Reports to the Director of Bacon

Job Summary:

The Bacon Supervisor oversees the production process, operating procedures, and working conditions in the Bacon Department. This position is responsible for supervising production employees in a processing environment and ensuring that established daily production and quality targets are achieved. The Bacon Production Supervisor will utilize their skill, experience, and decision-making ability to ensure product through the department meets company, customer, and government specifications.

This is a high-visibility position for a results-oriented professional who excels at making real-time decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Office Environment: 20% of the work is conducted in an office setting, involving time spent on computer research, project management, and communication with team members and stakeholders. Frequent participation is both in-person and virtual meetings, including project updates, strategy sessions, and presentations to management and stakeholders.

Production Environment: 75% Regular visits to the production areas will involve exposure to machinery, noise, varying temperatures, humidity, and wet conditions.
