Position: Welder 1 or 2 Day Shift: Monday
- Thursday, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm (OT as needed) Pay Rate: $23.50 - $26.00+ per hour (Depending on experience) + Full Benefits Package Location: Mandan, ND Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe and efficient fabrication of steel products. The Welder I is an entry-level welding position, with all work being completed with close supervision.
Essential Job Functions- Follow all company safety and quality requirements.
- Learn company policies and procedures
- Work on basic manufacturing assignments that have set standards
- Follow detailed instructions while observed closely by supervisor or lead
- Problem solves simple and non-complex issues that need little judgement
- Perform measurements within specified tolerances
- Learn to read blueprints
- Work well with others
- Work safely and accurately
- Prompt and dependable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Perform simple flat and horizontal welds and flat groove welds
- Fit and weld subassemblies with tack or spot weld
- Perform measurements within specified tolerances
- Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance.
- General knowledge of equipment and operations.
- Basic understanding of Weld symbols
- Understand and follow oral and written directions.
- Read a tape measure (imperial and metric).
- Accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
- Perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace.
- Make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal.
- Be dependable and trustworthy.

- 1-2 year(s) of welding experience preferred.
