Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for aMaintenance Workerat our Carrington, NDdurum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce

Dakota Growers pasta.

Responsibilities:

Assist with preventative and predictive maintenance on process systemsincludingmill, production, packaging, utility, and other facility equipment

Partner with operations to troubleshoot issues on process systems,utilizingmachine manuals and schematics

Assistwithmaintainingutility operationsincludingboilers, compressors, vacuum pumps, watersupplyand HVAC systems

Document work(PM checklists, work orders, permits, etc.) and maintain GMPs, safety and food safety standards

Partner with company leadership to proactivelyidentifyand execute on continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of safety, food safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent from and accredited institution and one of the following:

Two-year associates degree or higher in technical field (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, electro-mechanical, controls and automation, etc.) or equivalent

Military training and experience in a relevant Military Occupational Specialty (MOS)2+ years of hands-on experience in a mechanic, maintenance, electrical, electro-mechanical, controls and automation, or related role

Experience with basic carpentry, plumbing, welding, metal work, and fabrication

Able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime

Preferred Qualifications:

Maintenance experience in a food manufacturing facility

Experience reading blueprints and schematics

Experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding

Experience with power transmission components such as belt drives, chain drives, bearings, motors & gears

Experience with drill presses, lathes, Bridgeport-type mills

Experience with operation and maintenance of forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulated lifts

Physical Requirements:

Qualified candidates must be able toperformthe following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:

Crouch, stoop, kneel, reach above shoulders, bend, balance, climb, work on ladder, push, pull, grasp, feel, perform fine manipulation, operate foot pedals, lift/carry, sit, stand and walk for extended periods

Work in dusty, high heat/humidity, and cold environments, and confined spaces

Wear a respirator as needed

Make fine distinctions by sound

Communicate verbally and in writing, and distinguish objects or equipment visually

Shift: 9pm-7:30am

Schedule:

Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday Starting Pay: $26/hr
