Position: CRNA Opportunity in Western North Dakota!

CRNA Opportunity in Western North Dakota

This opportunity offers a full-scope CRNA practice at a 25‑bed critical access hospital located in southwestern North Dakota. The role involves providing anesthesia services to a wide range of cases at a single hospital with an independent scope of practice and no MDA supervision.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Independent Contractor – Living in the community: $250/hr, 8 hr shifts/16 hr call, 26 weeks off per year, paid professional liability insurance, $15,000 relocation incentive, $50,000 forgivable loan with $1,000/month resident stipend.
  • Independent Contractor – Not living in the community: $225/hr, 8 hr shifts/16 hr call, 26 weeks off per year, paid professional liability insurance, travel and lodging allowance.
  • Employed – Living in the community: $220/hr, 8 hr shifts/16 hr call, 26 weeks off per year, $15,000 relocation incentive, $50,000 forgivable loan with $1,000/month resident stipend, health insurance for employee and family, 401(k) with 3% match, $5,000 CME allowance, paid professional liability insurance.
Responsibilities
  • Perform blocks, lumber punctures, and intubations.
  • Provide anesthesia for 50% orthopedic, 25% OB/GYN, and 25% eye procedures.
  • Stabilize and transfer more complicated cases to Bismarck.
  • No heart, neuro, or pain management cases.
Candidate Criteria
  • Current Registered Nurse license.
  • Current CRNA certification.
  • Licensed to perform blocks.
  • North Dakota medical license without restrictions or ability to obtain one.
  • Current BLS/ACLS certifications.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

The hospital is located in southwestern North Dakota, serving over 30,000 residents and acting as a regional center for a total population of 101,000. The community offers a diverse economy centered on energy, agriculture, and manufacturing.
