Overview

We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team at Vibra Healthcare. Located in Mandan, ND, Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas is a 41‑bed critical‑care hospital providing long‑term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. We offer a $20,000 sign‑on bonus and require IV certification. Participants in the Clinical Career Ladder are eligible for pay increases after successful completion of the Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced Levels.

Our hospital offers a fast‑paced, friendly work environment where staff can get to know patients and families. Patients often require additional critical‑care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning.

The LPN/LVN is responsible for clinical functions on the unit, including all aspects of patient care that incorporate the nursing process in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. The staff LPN/LVN shall ensure that the unit functions smoothly, organized, and efficiently as directed by the Registered Nurse. The provision of care includes direct care and the delegation and supervision of all nursing care.

Specific components of the role include demonstrating clinical competence, managing patient care, improving quality of care, establishing professional relationships, utilizing professional skills, fulfilling the responsibilities of the hospital, and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor.
• IV Certification.

• One year of clinical experience in a health‑care setting preferred.
• Three years of medical/surgical experience preferred.
• One year of area‑specific experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
