RN Clinical Care Leader

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process
• Coordinate care, assess patients, provide education, triage, and perform nursing interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Utilize technology to enhance patient care and collaboration
• Delegate to and supervise unlicensed personnel while maintaining nursing accountability
• Lead and manage staff scheduling
• Mentor staff and assist with overall clinic activities
• Conduct new staff training and orientation
• Support performance improvement policies and train employees on them
• Follow up with risk management and train clinical staff as needed
• Collaborate with Walk-In Clinic and Family Medicine teams
• Participate in department or organizational task forces and committees
• Adapt to clinic needs and take on a variety of tasks

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including CCNE-, ACEN-, or NLN CNEA-accredited programs
• Currently hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications
• Function within the legal scope of nursing practice
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred in some Sanford networks and required in Bismarck and certain Sioux Falls roles
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a team
• Proactive mindset and desire to grow as a leader
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions
• Ability to learn new concepts, processes, and tools related to personal development and education

Demonstrates expertise in individualized nursing care, patient assessment, and collaboration with healthcare teams. Holds a valid RN license and possesses strong clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and the ability to mentor and lead staff effectively.
