Audio Visual Technician

Location: Fargo, ND (On-site with local travel)

SITE ON SOUND, INC. is a retail audio-visual company based on Main Avenue in Fargo, North Dakota, serving the Fargo-Moorhead area and beyond. We design, sell, and install AV systems for residential, commercial, and automotive clients. Our team works closely with customers to understand their needs, recommend solutions, and ensure reliable system performance.

We are seeking a Home & Commercial AV Integrator to install, configure, and service AV systems in homes and businesses. This role includes everything from basic TV and speaker installations to more advanced integrated systems. Experience is preferred, but we will train the right person with strong technical aptitude.

• Install and configure residential and commercial AV systems, including:
• TVs, projectors, and screens
• Speakers, amplifiers, and sound systems
• Home theater and surround sound systems
• Conference/meeting room AV systems
• Pull, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling (speaker wire, network, HDMI, etc.)
• Securely and cleanly mount TVs, speakers, and related hardware
• Set up and configure equipment (AV receivers, streaming devices, control systems, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and repair AV systems in the field
• Perform basic network setup and integration for AV devices (preferred)
• Work at customer sites in homes, offices, and commercial buildings
• Communicate with customers and team members to ensure projects are completed to specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Residential or commercial AV installation
• Familiarity with AV receivers, sound bars, home theater systems, and distributed audio
• Experience with basic networking (Wi-Fi, routers, switches)
• Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and floor plans

• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable using hand and power tools, ladders, and basic test equipment
• Attention to detail and clean workmanship (mounting, cable management, terminations)
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work on-site with minimal supervision once trained
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
