Location: Louisiana
Salary: $140,000–$180,000 DOE + Discretionary Bonus
Schedule: In-Office (85%) | Field (15%) | 5 Days/Week

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead and optimize day-to-day operations across multiple heavy highway construction projects
. This senior leadership role oversees project execution from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, safety, quality, and contract compliance across all crews and project teams.

• Oversee multiple heavy highway construction projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
• Partner with Project Managers to develop project strategies, schedules, and resource plans
• Review and interpret contract documents, plans, and specifications
• Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and schedule risks
• Ensure full compliance with safety programs, OSHA, and company standards
• Monitor field operations to ensure quality, productivity, and adherence to timelines
• Communicate project needs and performance to executive leadership
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, agencies, and partners
• Train, mentor, and develop project managers and estimators

• 15+ years of experience in Heavy Highway Construction
• 10+ years of project or operations management experience (field experience strongly preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management (required)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proven experience with concrete paving, site-work, utilities, drainage, and DOT projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and teams simultaneously
• Stable work history and senior-level leadership experience

• Master's degree in Engineering or Management
• Experience working with the Louisiana DOTD

• Background as a Superintendent, Foreman, or Field Supervisor
