About the RoleThe Plumbing Modeler is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining high-quality BIM models for water, waste, vent, and medical gas and other plumbing systems.
This role works closely with BIM Leads, Project Managers, and other trade modelers to ensure all deliverables meet company standards, project requirements, and client expectations.
This position is ideal for someone who values precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a BIM/VDC environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain BIM models in Autodesk Revit for Plumbing systems
- Coordinate models with architectural, structural, electrical, and other MEP trades
- Ensure models meet constructability, coordination, and fabrication requirements
- Participate in clash detection and coordination meetings using Navisworks Manage
- Review and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications
- Follow BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) ,
LOD standards , and internal modeling standards - Collaborate with BIM Leads, Project Managers, and QC teams to resolve issues
- Maintain proper file organization, version control, and documentation
- 2 + years of BIM modeling, coordination, or QC experience in MEP systems
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP)
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination and construction workflows
- Ability to read and interpret plans, schematics, and specifications
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Clear communication and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Experience with Revit and
Navisworks Manage - Familiarity with fabrication-level modeling
- Experience using BIMTrack, Revizto, or Fabrication CADmep
- Prior experience in a VDC or coordination-focused role
