Keystone Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Design Coordinator to join our Mandeville team.
Position Type: FT
Travel Requirements:Occasional site visits required
Essential Functions:
- Works across disciplines under the direction of a Supervising Designer or Engineering Manager
- Oversees coordination of all drafting and design activities for assigned projects.
- Ensures accuracy, quality, and consistency of all multi-discipline design deliverables
- Interfaces with Project Managers and Engineers to align design scope and schedules
- Coordinates resource needs and work assignments for the design team
- Leads design team meetings, drawing reviews, and internal audits
- Serves as the main point of contact for design coordination across discipline s.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with engineering to develop and communicate the design execution plan.
- Monitors and adjusts project schedules and budgets for design deliverables
- Provides technical guidance and leadership to design staff across all levels.
- Supports training, mentoring, and performance evaluations of design personnel
- Ensures compliance with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory codes.
- Coordinates inter-discipline design issues and resolves technical discrepancies.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 15+ years working experience
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D - grading and plan/profiles
- Experience with Adv. Steel
- Strong Written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate
