We are a large wholesale format printing company in Mandeville, LA. We are looking to hire a full-time Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Assistant.

Job is Monday - Friday. Time: 8:00PM - 5:00PM. Great Job opportunity!

• Manage all material coming out of printing and cutting areas.
• Securely wrap, strap and package all printed material.
• Create shipping labels in Fed-X, UPS and LTL Logistics software according to sales orders instructions.
• Sort and label boxes with shipping labels according to sales report.
• Inspect and approve all finished packages leaving the building.
• Confirm all packages have been picked-up at the end of each day.
• Responsible for making sure all packages are shipped to meet their deadline arrival dates.
• Notify upper management to deliver packages to Fed-ex or UPS when pickup deadlines are not met.
• Order Packing and Shipping materials when low on product.
• Maintain a solid inventory and order special packaging as needed for special jobs.
• Handle any insurance claims on damaged packages with shipping companies and report finding to Customer Service Relation Manager.
• Inspect, Retrieve packing slips and log-in all incoming materials and packaging.
• Backup to Cutter and HP Printer as needed.
• Operate Heat Seam Welder and assist with Laminating jobs.
• Assist in other printing areas as requested.
• Operating Digitech and Esko Cutter as assigned or requested.
• Keep area clean and organized.
• Assist with trash removal to dumpster as needed.
