We are looking for a dependable and caring Licensed Practical Nurse 3 to join our Mandeville Behavioral Health Clinic. Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, a temporary permit, or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state plus two years of experience as a licensed practical nurse.
Job Duties- Provides direct nursing care to clients receiving treatment for mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or medical illness.
- Responsible for performing individualized direct client care.
- Performs standard nursing services, which may include the following: administering prescribed medications, performing injections, maintaining documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), administering screenings, tests, and other required labs, conducting assessments and screens for new clients.
- Participates as an active member of an interdisciplinary Treatment Team.
Appointment Type: Probational Appointment
Compensation: This position is eligible for premium pay of $1.00/hour for hours worked performing direct patient care. The following rates are Special Entrance Rates (SER) established for this agency in these job titles:
- LPN 3: $22.30/hour minimum - $33.08/hour maximum
Career Progression: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 1, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 2 or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 3
