Responsibilities:

To assist with the day-to-day store operation and sales performance to meet or exceed budget while in compliance with company standards, policies and procedures. A Sales Floor Lead performsthedutiesofasupervisorwhenassignedbythe

Store Manageror Sales Floor Manager . Sales Floor Leads may act in a supervisory capacity during scheduled work hours.

Responsibilities - Details

Tousethecashregistertomaketotalsales,accept payment;authorize voids,returns, exchanges and credits for merchandise.

Toensureproperrotation ofstoremerchandise.

Toactasapositiverolemodelforemployeesandtraineesinallaspectsofprofessionalperformance.

To stock thesales floor adequately. To create a positivepublicimageof Goodwill throughacleanstoreenvironment,attractivedisplaysandpresentable,personable personnel.

Tomaintainsafeandappropriateconditions intheshoppingareas.

Tokeepthestorecleanandhazardfreeby vacuuming,moppinganddusting, (including cleaning the bathrooms.)

Toobservepersonnelandsafetypoliciesandprocedures.

Toensurecomplianceby Store Floor Associates .

Tobeableto performthejob duties ofSales Floor Associates .

Toattendworkontheregularlyscheduledshiftsasassignedbythemanagerfortheweek.

Toensurethefloorcheckiscompleteddailyandtoensuremonthlysafetyself- inspections are conducted.

Toensureallnewhiresareproperlyoriented,usingtheappropriatemanual,within the first week of employment. To document that training occurred.

Toassistthestoremanagerincontrollingtheexpensetorevenueratiomonthlyandannually.

Toassistintrainingandmentoringof Sales Floor Associatesandcourt -appointed community service workers, as assigned by the Store Manager or Sales Floor Manager.

Toassistinsupervising,discipliningandrecommendingdischargeofsalesassociates to the Store Manager or Sales Floor Manager.

Tomonitorandassist inthereceiving,pricing and displayingofstoremerchandise.

Torecordandbalancecashregisterreceipts,makebankdepositsandrecordstoretransactions.

Toassistin thepreparationofpersonneland payrollrecordsin atimelymanner.

Tocompleteaccuratelyotherpaperworkrequiredintheday-to-dayoperationofthestore.

Anyotherjob-relateddutiesasrequestedbymanagement.

Skills and Abilities:

Toassistthe Store Manageror Production Managerinachieving /exceeding production goals both monthly and annually and to assist in implementing a contingency plan if goals are not being met.

Mustbeabletointeractprofessionallyandproductivelywithadiverse arrayofpeople.

Mustbeabletomarket Goodwillandexplainthemissiontothegeneralpublic.

Mustestablishandmaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipswith,andamong,store and production personnel while motivating them to their best performance.

Mustbeabletoworkaflexiblescheduleonshortnotice,includingnightsand weekends, and occasionally, long hours.

Mustbeabletouserepetitivehandmovementwhenbuttoning,sorting,hanging and zipping garments.

Mustbeabletoengageinprolongedstanding,walkingandinfrequentbending, stooping, and stretching.

Mustbeabletofunctioninafast-pacedworkenvironmentwithoccasionalperiodsof high volume.

Requirements:

HighSchooldiplomaorGEDand6monthssupervisoryexperienceoraminimumof 90 days in the service industry.

Mustbeabletoread,writeandcommunicateclearlyin

English.

Priorworkexperience intheserviceindustrypreferred.

Mustsuccessfullycomplete Retail training.

Working Conditions:

Frequentphysicalexertion,frequent movement,conditionedindoortemperatureswithoccasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation center with no prior notice.
