Sales Coordinator
As a CPS team member, you will have a vital role in assisting in the overall growth of a well‑established company. You will be responsible for general customer service including quoting, following up on quotes and placing orders and learning and supporting Inside Sales. Basic administrative and customer service duties will include but may not be limited to filing, mail, supplies, etc.
This role will also be responsible for assisting in other administrative work and/or personal projects and events as needed. As a Sales Coordinator you will work with customers, vendors, and other team members to ensure the overall financial success of the company.
- Professionally represent and promote CPS and our manufacturers throughout the marketplace.
- Utilize CPS sales tools and processes, along with each manufacturer's tools and processes, to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, manufacturers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and support the company's financial objectives.
- Provide administrative and sales support to the inside and outside sales teams, office staff, and leadership as needed.
- Route all incoming phone calls and email communications to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic project files, including bills of materials, schedules, quotations, bid documents, and other project‑related documentation.
- Manage and maintain all project documentation within the company's CRM, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Monitor and manage shared inboxes and the quote queue, routing requests to the appropriate individuals based on project needs.
- Provide inside sales support by following up with manufacturers and vendors regarding shipping and receiving information, tracking open quotes, and coordinating quote and bid requests.
- Coordinate and schedule customer presentations, lunch‑and‑learn events, and other marketing or educational events that promote the company's premier product lines.
- Serve as a liaison between manufacturers, customers, and the sales team throughout the sales process to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in trade shows and complete manufacturer training as required.
- Order general office supplies, meals, and other office necessities.
- Coordinate business travel arrangements, including airfare, hotel accommodations, and related travel logistics.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple complex calendars and competing priorities.
- Experience with or exposure to CRM platforms; knowledge of Oasis Engineer or Rap Fabric is preferred.
- Industry knowledge or related experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel overnight occasionally (approximately 3–5 days at a time) as business needs require.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Self‑motivated team player with a willingness to learn and assist wherever needed.
