If you're driven to analyze, troubleshoot, and perfect your work, and you can perform under shifting priorities, deadlines, and pressures, this is your opportunity to work on high-impact projects across the globe. You'll be trusted to adapt quickly, think critically, and maintain the highest technical standards—because at MSHS, our clients' operations depend on it.

About the Role

As a Field Service Engineer Level 1 – Control Systems, you will be the technical service leader performing and leading MRO in the field. You'll work independently or as part of a team, implementing processes and procedures for servicing company-supported products and equipment.

You'll also be responsible for delivering top-tier customer service—both internally and externally—while ensuring that all tasks are completed to company standards. This role requires a professional who can balance hands-on technical execution with strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-house and field service tasks including installation, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of supported products and equipment.
  • Provide support for TAG, training, and system-level testing.
  • Understand basic component and systems-level functionality.
  • Identify, analyze, and repair product failures, ordering and replacing parts as needed.
  • Provide TAG support to determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customer's needs.
  • Offer basic fault-finding assistance via phone and email for low-end controls.
Required Qualifications

We're looking for someone with more than skills—we want precision, adaptability, and a drive for mastery.

  • Recognized electrical or mechanical certificate from a trade school or military training institution or Associate Degree in a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.
  • Ability to work under immediate supervision.
  • Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English required, Spanish a plus).
  • Customer-focused, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.
  • Must have a valid driver's license (company pool vehicle provided).
  • Must have a valid passport, or the ability to obtain a passport.
  • Must be able to pass water survival training.
Desired Qualifications
  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Prior customer support or service experience.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in industrial facilities, a variety of weather conditions and extreme temperature environments
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Comfortable standing, kneeling, stooping, and working on equipment for extended periods
  • Willingness to travel and work variable schedules based on service needs
