Relate Search has partnered with a growing finance and accounting consulting firm in its search for an Interim Senior Director of Accounting to support a high-profile engagement with a large global organization. This consultant will work directly with corporate accounting leadership to help stabilize and optimize a recently implemented cloud ERP environment while addressing complex technical accounting and financial reporting initiatives.

This is an opportunity to make an immediate impact by partnering with senior stakeholders on post-implementation accounting challenges, financial reporting, legal entity restructuring, multinational consolidations, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in complex environments, operates independently, and delivers practical solutions with minimal oversight.

• Provide senior-level technical accounting support within a complex post-ERP implementation environment, partnering closely with corporate accounting leadership.
• Prepare technical accounting memorandums, support external financial reporting activities, and ensure appropriate accounting treatment under U.S. GAAP.
• Assist with legal entity restructuring, multinational consolidations, foreign exchange accounting, and complex journal entries across multiple countries.
• Support month-end close activities while helping resolve accounting challenges resulting from a recent cloud ERP implementation.
• Collaborate with internal leadership and external advisors to identify issues, implement solutions, and improve accounting processes within a global multi-entity environment.

• Big Four accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, technical accounting, financial reporting, and preparation of technical accounting memorandums.
• Extensive experience with multi-entity and international consolidations, legal entity structures, and foreign exchange accounting.
• Experience supporting cloud ERP environments, including implementation or post-go-live accounting activities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and effectively partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
