Description
As a Radiology Reception Assistant (Administrative Assistant III), you'll play an essential role in creating a positive, seamless experience for our patients from the moment they arrive. Under the direction of the Radiology Patient Support Services Supervisor, you'll provide critical administrative and patient-facing support for the Department of Radiological Sciences in a fast-paced clinical environment.
In this role, you will:
- Welcome and register patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient arrival experience.
- Obtain and verify clinical information needed for scheduled exams.
- Collect and process cash, insurance, and authorization information.
- Communicate with referring physicians and clinical teams regarding outpatient patient needs and exam-related matters.
- Perform scheduling duties and assist with coordinating patient appointments.
- Provide a variety of administrative support to help keep Radiology operations running efficiently.
- Rotate between Radiology areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support different teams and patient populations.
The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, patient-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment. The Administrative Assistant III demonstrates strong multitasking skills, professionalism, and the ability to quickly adjust to the changing needs of Radiology while providing exceptional service to patients, families, physicians, and colleagues.
Salary Range: $30.36 - $43.89/Hourly
