Overview
An aerospace client is looking for a Microelectronic Technician to support our molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) department. As a member of the MBE department you'll work alongside material science engineers and equipment support engineers. This position will serve on-site at the Space Park campus, on the Manhattan Beach, CA side.
Location: Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 (Onsite)
Pay Rate
: $21.68/hr. on W2
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 9/80A
Shift: 1st Shift (5:00AM to 2:30 PM)
Potential weekend overtime available once proficient.
Responsibilities- Use characterization systems to analyze wafers for Engineering review.
- Operate MBE system(s).
- Handling various size/type of microelectronics substrates.

Ability to get along with other is important. Skills can be learned if willing. Asking lots of questions is highly encouraged. - A typical day look like:
Processing wafers through different systems in preparation to deliver to a new location.
- Able to lift 30-40 pounds
- Computer-literate
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
