Microelectronic Technician

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Microelectronic Technician in Manhattan Beach, CA for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role supports advanced semiconductor and microelectronics development, working alongside engineers on cutting-edge technologies used in sensors, optoelectronics, and integrated systems.

Required Skills

• U.S. Citizenship required
• High school diploma
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to lift 30–40 pounds
• Ability to work in a hands-on technical environment
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling semiconductor wafers
• Cleanroom experience
• Experience working in a lab, manufacturing, or technical environment

What You’ll Do

• Support research and development of microelectronic and semiconductor technologies
• Assist with fabrication, inspection, and testing of micro-components and systems
• Work alongside engineers to support process development and improvement
• Follow established procedures for handling sensitive materials and components
• Perform inspections and apply test procedures to ensure product quality
• Maintain accurate documentation and support lab operations

Work Schedule / Shift

• 1st Shift (9/80 schedule)
• Fully onsite in Manhattan Beach, CA

Pay

• Up to $60.29/hr
