Electronics Technician, Electronics Engineer
PGS Worldwide is seeking a Microelectronic Technician in Manhattan Beach, CA for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role supports advanced semiconductor and microelectronics development, working alongside engineers on cutting-edge technologies used in sensors, optoelectronics, and integrated systems.
Required Skills
- U.S. Citizenship required
- High school diploma
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to lift 30–40 pounds
- Ability to work in a hands-on technical environment
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling semiconductor wafers
- Cleanroom experience
- Experience working in a lab, manufacturing, or technical environment
What You’ll Do
- Support research and development of microelectronic and semiconductor technologies
- Assist with fabrication, inspection, and testing of micro-components and systems
- Work alongside engineers to support process development and improvement
- Follow established procedures for handling sensitive materials and components
- Perform inspections and apply test procedures to ensure product quality
- Maintain accurate documentation and support lab operations
Work Schedule / Shift
- 1st Shift (9/80 schedule)
- Fully onsite in Manhattan Beach, CA
Pay
- Up to $60.29/hr
