Weaver is a full-service national accounting, advisory, and consulting firm focused on delivering high‑quality audit services to the financial services industry. In this role you will join our dynamic Financial Services team concentrating on investment‑fund clients, including venture capital, private equity, and real‑estate funds.
Position ProfileAs an Audit Manager, you will lead full audit engagements, develop and mentor staff, support business‑development initiatives, and collaborate closely with firm leadership on administration and strategy.
Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and supervise audit engagements for investment‑fund clients, ensuring high quality and compliance with professional standards.
- Mentor and train associates, senior associates, and supervisors, fostering professional growth and technical proficiency.
- Collaborate with firm leadership on business‑development projects and key firm‑wide initiatives.
- Contribute to firm administration and operational support functions.
- Maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and adding value to engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Active CPA license.
- 5+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent.
- Experience auditing alternative investment funds (venture capital, private equity, real‑estate).
- Technical knowledge sufficient to supervise senior associates and associates.
- Master’s degree or other advanced education in accounting or related field.
- Strong communication and client engagement skills.
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff.
- Independent thinker with strong decision‑making skills.
- Experience attracting and servicing new clients and expanding services.
- Base salary range: $120,000 – $150,000 (plus incentives, opportunities for bonuses, and equity).
