Hirene Xus has partnered with a boutique RIA with an ultra-high-net-worth client focus in the Manhattan Beach, CA area to help them add an experienced Client Service Specialist/Associate Wealth Advisor to their team. This role offers an advisory growth path and the ability to work closely with senior team members as an integral part of the client relationship.

This is an excellent opportunity for a client-focused wealth management professional to join a collaborative advisory team serving highly sophisticated individuals and families. The Client Service Specialist plays a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience by supporting advisors, coordinating client service activities, managing account administration, and assisting with financial planning and investment operations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where exceptional client service and operational excellence are top priorities.

Responsibilities Client Onboarding & Account Administration
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new client relationships, including account openings, transfers, advisory agreements, and custodial documentation.
  • Manage account transfers, funding, Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), automatic distributions, and other account maintenance requests.
  • Maintain accurate client records within CRM and portfolio management systems while ensuring all onboarding tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Monitor onboarding progress and communicate proactively with clients, advisors, custodians, and internal team members throughout the process.
Ongoing Client Service
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client service requests, including money movement, account maintenance, statements, tax documentation, and general administrative needs.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and their professional advisors, including family office personnel, accountants, and attorneys.
  • Coordinate recurring client service activities such as annual RMD processing, tax reporting support, performance review scheduling, and compliance documentation.
  • Deliver a responsive, high-touch client experience while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support quarterly portfolio reporting by reconciling account data, validating performance reports, and coordinating report preparation and delivery.
  • Assist with portfolio analysis, performance reporting, and investment-related research.
  • Support advisors with financial planning initiatives, wealth management projects, and ongoing client planning activities.
  • Help prepare materials for client meetings and contribute to the implementation of client financial strategies.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience within a wealth management, investment advisory, or financial services environment.
  • Working knowledge of investment account types, including IRAs, trusts, retirement plans, donor-advised funds, and taxable accounts.
  • Understanding of investment products including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, certificates of deposit, and related client account administration.
  • Experience supporting account opening, transfers (ACATs), Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), money movement, cashiering, journals, and related custodial processes.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred
  • Experience working with major custodial platforms such as Fidelity, Charles Schwab Institutional, or Pershing.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms including Salesforce or Redtail.
  • Experience using portfolio reporting systems such as Addepar, Black Diamond, Tamarac, Orion, or Envestnet.
  • Working knowledge of financial planning software including eMoney or Money Guide Pro .
  • Experience with Docu Sign or other electronic signature platforms.
  • Experience supporting securities trade processing.
  • CFP® designation or interest in pursuing advanced professional education.

This position offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary in the range of $80,000-$140,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit. Additional compensation includes a performance-based bonus opportunity along with a comprehensive benefits package.
