Job SummaryThe KDHE Administrator for Little Apple Day Camp will perform the business operations of Little Apple Day Camp including but not limited to coordinating field trips, transportation, administrative duties such as answering phones and questions from parents, coordinating between campers, parents and staff in relation to camp procedures. The selected candidate(s) must be able to attend all in-service training sessions.
The position includes fulltime, daytime hours (7:30 AM-5:30 PM), Monday-Friday during the summer camp timeframe.Administrator duties run from March to early August.
Job Duties
- Perform the business operations of the program.
- Executes administrative tasks and processes to include setting appointments, calendar management, preparing various types of correspondence, filing, record-keeping, presenting important information, answering questions, responding to emails and phone calls and planning.
- Apply knowledge of licensing regulations governing school-age programs.
- Safely operates motor vehicles to pick up and transport program participants to and from programs, field trips and other daily activities.
- Provides supervision and guidance to a group of children or youth under the direction of a camp staff.
