The Marketing team at GEICO needs to move fast, stay organized, and show up well in every room. This Executive Assistant will be the operational backbone for the CMO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the calendar for the CMO, proactively managing conflicts, protecting priorities, and staying one step ahead.
  • Support distribution of briefing materials and coordinate logistics for meetings, team calls, and leadership sessions with the Chief of Staff.
  • Book and manage complex domestic and international travel – flights, hotels, ground transportation, and itineraries – with precision and contingency thinking.
  • Maintain travel tracking and handle changes, cancellations, and last‑minute pivots without missing a beat.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports accurately and on time.
  • Plan and execute team events, offsites, leadership dinners, and internal gatherings – handling venue sourcing, catering, AV, run‑of‑show, and on‑site coordination.
  • Support external‑facing moments – agency meetings, partner visits, executive presentations – ensuring the environment and logistics reflect well on the team.

Ideal Experience
  • 3+ years of experience supporting high‑volume senior leaders in an executive assistant, office coordinator, hospitality, events, or similar role.
  • Event planning or hospitality experience, formal or informal, with moving parts managed successfully.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and ability to build clean decks or tracking spreadsheets from scratch.
  • Comfortable with AI tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar assistants.
  • Exceptional organization, ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
  • High emotional intelligence, discretion, and trusted with confidential information.
  • Clear, polished written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; relevant experience matters more.
  • Strong candidates may also have experience supporting a fast‑paced executive in a corporate or agency environment, experience in marketing organizations, familiarity with SharePoint, Workday, and enterprise tools, background in project management or client services, and interest in marketing, media, or brand.
Location & Compensation

New York City, NY. This is a hybrid role with a 3‑day in‑office requirement.

Annual Salary: $32.05 - $50.36 (range based on experience, location, and market).
