Equity Staffing is seeking a Construction Coordinator to support one of our clients in managing projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring projects are delivered successfully while exceeding customer expectations.
Onsite in Edwardsville, KS
Salary $58,000
Project Execution & Oversight
- Manage all phases of project execution from order receipt to completion
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with contract specifications
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
Project Planning & Coordination
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
- Coordinate with internal teams including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Safety, and Quality
- Determine and allocate resources needed for project success
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
- Manage customer expectations and maintain strong relationships
- Communicate project updates, risks, and milestones effectively
Financial & Contract Management
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-completion projections
- Analyze revenue, profitability, and utilization
- Ensure all legal, contractual, and commercial requirements are met
Reporting & Communication
- Track and report key project metrics (progress, budget, timelines, risks)
- Provide updates to internal stakeholders and leadership
- Ensure timely communication across all project participants
Qualifications Required
- 0–5 years of project management experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
- Ability to manage budgets and project timelines effectively
Preferred
- Experience with technical or engineering-based projects
- Familiarity with contract and commercial terms
