Job Title:

Instructional Support Staff. Instructional support staff provides direct assistance to teachers and students to support classroom instruction and student learning. This role may include working with individuals or small groups, supporting instructional activities, and helping maintain a productive classroom environment.

• Salary: $12.00 to $15.50/hr.
• Placement within this range is based on relevant qualifications, including prior experience, education, and applicable certifications (e.g., bachelor s degree, advanced certification, bilingual proficiency, etc.).

• This is a grant-funded position. Continuation of employment is contingent upon the availability of grant funds.

• 7:10 - 3:10 (8 hours)

• Positions available during the regular school year.
• New employees go through a 45-day introductory period as part of onboarding after which benefits will begin, and leave can be used.

• Building Principal.

• Works with individuals or small groups to reinforce materials introduced by the teacher.
• Helps students master equipment or instructional materials assigned by teacher.
• Assists with student supervision.
• Check notebooks, corrects papers, supervise testing and make-up work assigned by teacher.
• Other duties as assigned.

Manhattan High School is a 9th through 12th grade high school. The estimated enrollment for the  school year is 2,050 students. The school day runs from 7:40 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. Teachers teach 5 of 7 class periods with an advisory period one day a week. Open periods and planning time are described. USD 383 uses Infinite Campus, CANVAS, and Xello.
