Position
Associate Pastor
Basic FunctionServe the church through ministry to children, youth, and their families, fulfill general pastoral responsibilities.
Reports ToSenior Pastor
Responsibilities- Ministry to children, youth, and their families: including teaching, leadership, discipleship, mentoring leaders, and administration. Oversight of all child and youth ministries, direct involvement with youth.
- Opportunities to engage in the full range of pastoral ministries including teaching, discipleship, counseling, visitation, evangelism, baptisms, communion, weddings, funerals, and prayer.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Elders and Senior Pastor.
- Committed follower of Jesus Christ.
- Elder qualified according to 1 Timothy 3:1‑7 and Titus 1:6‑9.
- Completed theological training (seminary preferred).
- Full agreement with the Grace Baptist Statement of Faith and position statements.
- Competent in basic pastoral duties.
- Passion to serve.
