About This Role
The Director for Graduate Recruitment is a key leadership position responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract top-tier graduate students to the university. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders within the university community and beyond to promote the university's graduate programs, enhance its reputation, and increase enrollment. The Director will work closely with the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management to lead the implementation and evaluation of the entire recruitment function for the university and identify and adjust strategies and procedures to enhance recruitment results across all units.

What You'll Need to SucceedMinimum Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience. Education beyond the minimum degree requirement may count toward required experience if deemed relevant by the hiring manager. The degree requirement ensures candidates possess the strategic, financial, leadership and operational skills essential for directing complex academic student services functions. These competencies are typically developed and validated only through the comprehensive curriculum and experiential learning inherent in a formal degree program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Business, Marketing, or a related field. Doctorate preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or a related area in higher education.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies.
- Strong understanding of recruitment trends, best practices, and strategies for reaching student populations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other recruitment technologies.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements in higher education recruitment.
Additional Role Information:
- Office environment with occasional travel for recruitment events and conferences.
-Some evening and weekend work required to accommodate recruitment events and prospective student needs.
