About This Role
The School of Accountancy at Kansas State University invites applications for an Instructor position in Accounting. The candidate will be responsible for teaching and service activities within the Department. The role will be roughly 80% teaching and 20% service.
What You’ll Need to SucceedMinimum Qualifications:
- At least one professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA, CIA) or ability to obtain a certification within one year of starting employment
- Commitment to collegiality and demonstrated ability to work as an effective and collaborative team member
- Master’s Degree in Accounting from an AACSB accredited business school
- Professional experience in accounting discipline
The degree requirement is necessary for accreditation purposes and to ensure candidates possess the specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities that can only be attained through a formal educational program at this level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting student learning and development experience
- University level teaching experience in accounting or business

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
