The Manager, Academic Student Services manages academic advising and recruitment functions in the Staley School of Leadership. The position develops and documents procedures and processes as needed for student advising in the school's academic programs. This position leads recruitment and enrollment team meetings to develop and implement strategies for the unit, and reports on metrics to evaluate effectiveness in recruitment, enrollment, and advising operations.
Serves as a subject matter expert in recommending unit strategy and provides professional support to unit leadership. Represents the Staley School of Leadership to university partners and the public and oversees student recruitment officers and Staley School Ambassadors.

Worksite Description
This position is On-site.
All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
* Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and seven years of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.
* Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in the college recruiting process or other relationship building role (i.e. sales, employment recruitment, etc.).
* Experience working in higher education in an administrative or coordinating capacity.
* Proficiency in customer relationship management software (e.g. Slate).
* Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion including weekends for special programs and events
* Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to engage audiences large and small, and effective written and oral communication.
