Public Health, Environment, and Health Care Finance (which includes the State’s Medicaid program, Kan Care). - Hourly Pay Range: $28.66 - $29.42

Position Summary & Responsibilities Position SummaryThe position (K0241954)
In this role you'll be the central point of coordination for Center's for Disease Control and Prevention, Epidemiology Laboratory Capacity Cooperative Agreement (ELC) administration across program areas. Your work will keep federal funding compliant, on schedule, and aligned with the state's public health priorities.
What you'll do- Lead the annual development and submission of ELC funding applications, including strategic planning and coordination across program components
- Develop, revise, and monitor quarterly and annual workplans, milestones, and performance measure reporting
- Complete and submit quarterly fiscal reports
- Schedule and facilitate quarterly program meetings and ELC Governance Team meetings
- Prepare budget redirection, reallocation, and carry-over requests in accordance with CDC Office of Grants Services (OGS) requirements
- Prepare monthly program reports for leadership
- Ensure internal controls and procurement approval paths are followed
- Serve as the primary coordinator for grant administration activities across multiple program areas
- [Bachelor's/Master's] degree in public health, public administration, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience managing federal grants or cooperative agreements, preferably CDC awards
- Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and work streams
- Working knowledge of federal grant regulations (2 CFR 200) and budget management
- Excellent written communication and meeting facilitation skills
