The Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University, invites applications for a clinical part-time appointment in diagnostic imaging. The successful candidate will join a well-supported, experienced, and collegial imaging section, that includes four faculty radiologists, three current residents, one specialty intern and five service-dedicated technicians. The Veterinary Health Center at Kansas State University is home to a state-of-the-art imaging facility which includes large and small animal computed and digital radiology, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, 128 slice helical computed tomography (with large animal imaging table) and a 3T Toshiba magnet with small and large animal capabilities.
Directed clinical service will include delivery of imaging services to a robust small animal caseload, with opportunity to work with large, and exotic animal patients in the Veterinary Health Center. Teaching responsibilities include instruction of veterinary students, interns, and residents in clinical rounds, and didactic lectures. Opportunities exist for collaboration across a broad range of basic and clinical sciences within the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Applicants must hold a DVM or equivalent degree, be ACVR or ECVDI certified, or be eligible to take the certifying examination. Competence in general radiology, diagnostic ultrasound, MRI, CT and fluoroscopy is required.
