The Department of Clinical Sciences, Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine seeks qualified candidates for a Clinical Track Assistant/Associate Professor position in the Pet Health and Nutrition Center at the Veterinary Health Center. The Pet Health and Nutrition Center operates as a small animal local practice within the referral hospital and provides wellness and sick/injured patient examinations, as well as minor surgeries.
The successful candidate will be joining a service of three faculty members (including 1 ABVP diplomate, canine/feline), two RVT’s, two veterinary assistants and a dedicated client services staff member who are all dedicated to the Pet Health Clinic. Directed clinical service activities include providing student oversight of primary care patients, patients with urgent care needs and minor surgeries. Collaboration with other services, faculty and house officers within the hospital is needed in this position.
Teaching responsibilities include clinical, and possible didactic, instruction of veterinary students, clinical rounds, as well as participation in occasional outreach activities.
The starting date for this position is negotiable. Salary and rank will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience and qualifications.

Applicants must possess a DVM or equivalent degree. Preference will be given to candidates with three years of clinical experience, internship training, ABVP certification, or other advanced training appropriate for this position.
