** The Role -*
* ** What You’ll Do
** Our team-focused Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) deliver rehabilitative care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, supporting patient progress, independence, and high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.
* Assist with patient assessments, treatment planning, and goal achievement.
* Provide therapy services, monitor progress, and document outcomes.
* Collaborate with patients and care teams to deliver age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care.
* Maintain a safe, organized therapy environment and follow safety protocols.
** Qualifications -*
* ** What We're Looking For
*** Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program
* Current State Licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
*** required
* *** BLS/CPR Certification required
* While 1 year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital is preferred; new grads are encouraged to apply.
** Physical requirements -*
* ** What you need to know
*** A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time.
* Both gross and precise motor functions.
* Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs.
* Possible exposure to bodily fluids.
* Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.
* Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment.
* Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
