Manhattan Surgical Hospital is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Revenue Cycle & Health Information Management to lead key operational areas that directly impact our patients, providers, and financial performance.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a healthcare leader who thrives on collaboration, process improvement, and achieving measurable results. In this role, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Business Office operations, reimbursement, privacy, compliance, and departmental performance improvement initiatives.
Working closely with hospital leadership, providers, and staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and an exceptional patient experience.
What You'll DoLead and develop high performing HIM and Revenue Cycle/Business Office teams.
Oversee health information management, patient access, billing, collections, reimbursement, and revenue cycle performance.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, Medicare, and other regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiencies, and enhance financial outcomes.
Monitor key performance indicators and implement data-driven improvement strategies.
Partner with clinical, operational, and executive leaders to support organizational goals.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking ForRHIA or RHIT credential required.
Five or more years of progressively responsible healthcare management experience.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of health information management, revenue cycle operations, reimbursement methodologies, privacy regulations, and healthcare compliance.
Demonstrated success in process improvement and team development.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
A collaborative leader who is energized by building teams and driving positive change.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Master, Bachelor, or associate degree in health information management or related field.
RHlA or RHIT credential required.
Previous related operational and supervisory experience.
Minimum five (5) years-experience in Health Information Management Knowledge of the Medical Staff bylaws, rules and regulations and peer review statutes
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to speak effectively to internal and external customers required.
