This

is a Monday - Friday, Day Shift position... No Weekends and No Holidays!

Occasional travel expected to Overland Park and Shawnee Mission practices as needed

Some of the duties include, but are not limited to:

Experienced in a fast-paced clinic environment.
Efficient and accurate at interviewing patients and documenting histories.
Able to ensure charts are updated and accurate.
Demonstrated working knowledge of eye anatomy, disease, and ocular medications.
Experienced with HVF, Lensometry, Keratometry, Tonometry, Visual Fields, Amslers,
Muscle Fields, Pupil Exams, and Refracting.
Proficient with EMR computer programs.

Requirements

Candidate must:

Have some Refractions experience
Experience in checking overall vision, identifying chief complaint
IOP
various diagnostic tests (Fundus photos, OCT, Visuals)

Other skills include:

Strong communication skills
Strong hospitality skills and patient care focus
Attention to detail
Tech savvy with strong Microsoft Office knowledge
Certification is a plus
