Rehab office coordinator will perform administrative and clerical tasks and will assist the therapy staff and
patients.
Duties include:
- Assists in rehab departments scheduling patients, maintaining waiting lists and communicating with patients.
- Assist patients to complete required intake forms as they enter the department and when discharged.
- Answers phone calls, schedules appointments, reschedules appointments, faxes patient information and
maintains office inventory. - Verifies patient insurance is correct in the EMR and handles authorizations and insurance paperwork when
required. - Get referrals and physician orders for therapy. Send or receive paperwork from doctor’s offices.
- Assist with departments QA, and QAPI projects in SQSS.
- Communicate with PT’s, SLPs, nurses, providers and other departments
-The full-time position is Monday through Friday
Experience in excellent verbal communication, interpersonal skills, teamwork, and multi-tasking.
