Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic performs maintenance, preventive maintenance, changeovers, adjustments, troubleshooting, minor and major repair of production and packaging equipment and ensures electrical and mechanical systems function adequately to minimize downtime. The technician must adhere to SOPs, cGMPs, and plant quality, safety, and documentation systems requirements.

• Maintain robotic systems, vision systems, barcode verification equipment, and line control management.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and programming components, including PLC, servo drives and related components, used in manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Use manuals, SOPs, specifications, vendor contacts, and other workplace aids to properly resource and use equipment.
• Complete corrective and preventative actions, including predictive maintenance.
• Communicate equipment status, work assignments, and other related information with manufacturing and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Prepare documents and reports for maintenance, quality, production change control requirements.
• Promote safe work practices.
• Complete assigned training in a timely manner.
• Train new and existing personnel as required.
• Participate in workplace continuous improvement projects.
• Monitor the work of others, including OEM technicians and contracted vendors.
• Schedule, organize work methods, materials, and parts.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Competitive hourly rate: $20.49 - $30.21 (final pay determined by experience, education, skills, and abilities).
