Essential

Job Duties
  • Ensure equipment and materials are ready for production.
  • Place raw materials into manufacturing machines.
  • Operate equipment for the assembly process.
  • Package finished products and organize them for delivery.
  • Maintain material and supplies inventory.
  • Monitor equipment and production to increase productivity and make necessary recommendations.
  • Process woodchips to assess for and remove foreign material and debris.
  • Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s culture of safety and employee ownership.
  • Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
Other Duties
  • Drive and operate vehicles and equipment as assigned.

  • Adhere to company and industry safety requirements.
  • Learn quickly and follow instructions accurately.
  • Operate various types of equipment and power tools such as skid‑steer loader and battery‑operated wire tie gun.

  • Adapt to a dynamic, fast‑paced, and ever‑changing environment.
  • Communicate effectively with others, including vendors, and represent Wright Tree Service professionally.

Education, Certification & Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of applicable work experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Valid First‑Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Requirements
  • Obtain and maintain a valid driver’s or commercial driver’s license (dependent upon Division and contract requirements).
  • Maintain a DOT medical card in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
  • Drive a vehicle to, from, or within the work area.
  • Keep informed of new equipment and specifications, standards, practices, and operating procedures.
Language Requirements
  • English – Read, Write, Speak
  • Spanish – Read, Write, Speak (optional)
Travel Requirements
  • Moderate travel (5% to 25%) required.
Physical Characteristics
  • Effective bending, reaching, standing, walking, climbing, lifting, carrying, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
  • Occasionally reach upward and downward.
  • Lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds infrequently and up to 30 pounds frequently.
  • Continuous use of near visual acuity, sitting, talking, computer, and keyboard.
  • Continuous use of far visual acuity, standing, and walking.
Environmental Factors
  • Indoor and outdoor working conditions.
  • Noise, vibration, proximity to moving parts, mechanical equipment, moving vehicles, gasoline‑powered equipment, electrical current, heights, heat, chemicals, narrow aisles, communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, cleaning chemicals, dust, odors, and pests.
