Job Duties
- Ensure equipment and materials are ready for production.
- Place raw materials into manufacturing machines.
- Operate equipment for the assembly process.
- Package finished products and organize them for delivery.
- Maintain material and supplies inventory.
- Monitor equipment and production to increase productivity and make necessary recommendations.
- Process woodchips to assess for and remove foreign material and debris.
- Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s culture of safety and employee ownership.
- Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
- Drive and operate vehicles and equipment as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Adhere to company and industry safety requirements.
- Learn quickly and follow instructions accurately.
- Operate various types of equipment and power tools such as skid‑steer loader and battery‑operated wire tie gun.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, flexibility, and self‑motivation with the ability to multitask.
- Adapt to a dynamic, fast‑paced, and ever‑changing environment.
- Communicate effectively with others, including vendors, and represent Wright Tree Service professionally.
- Read, write, and comprehend written and verbal instructions.
- Minimum of 1 year of applicable work experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Valid First‑Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Obtain and maintain a valid driver’s or commercial driver’s license (dependent upon Division and contract requirements).
- Maintain a DOT medical card in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Drive a vehicle to, from, or within the work area.
- Keep informed of new equipment and specifications, standards, practices, and operating procedures.

- Spanish – Read, Write, Speak (optional)
- Moderate travel (5% to 25%) required.
- Effective bending, reaching, standing, walking, climbing, lifting, carrying, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
- Occasionally reach upward and downward.
- Lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds infrequently and up to 30 pounds frequently.
- Continuous use of near visual acuity, sitting, talking, computer, and keyboard.
- Continuous use of far visual acuity, standing, and walking.
- Indoor and outdoor working conditions.
- Noise, vibration, proximity to moving parts, mechanical equipment, moving vehicles, gasoline‑powered equipment, electrical current, heights, heat, chemicals, narrow aisles, communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, cleaning chemicals, dust, odors, and pests.
