Food Production Associate; Machine Operator

Position Summary

• This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for the proper operations of our canning and/or packaging line(s).
• Canning or packaging product for our valued customers in a timely manner while meeting safety and quality food codes and procedures.

• Can or package products according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform tasks with focus towards organization, sanitation, and safety.
• Ensure product is of highest standards before and after packaging.
• Run routine inspections on equipment to ensure quality.
• Classification of Instructional Programs for all equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform daily maintenance of the canning and packaging lines.
• Effectively work with and coordinate with packaging team.
• Accurately keep and maintain records pertaining to task.
• Maintain clean work environment.
• Additional duties as required.

• This position requires 1-2 years of experience in similar duties.
• Detail orientated person required for this position.
• Ability to complete tasks in timely manner.
• Capable of lifting 40 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Must always wear personal protective equipment.
• Participates actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs, and training sessions.
• Ability to work a schedule of 4 full 10-hour workdays per week, with flexibility to occasionally work nights and weekends as needed.
